Private Client Solicitor / Executry Paralegal – Elgin

We currently have a vacancy for a Private Client Solicitor and/or paralegal to join our friendly executry team in Elgin.

Ideally, you should have a positive, enthusiastic manner and already be either an experienced solicitor in this area of law or an experienced executry paralegal.

You will be given a significant degree of autonomy as well as your own case load. The duties involved in the post will include dealing with all aspects of executry administration: for example, investigating the extent of an estate, preparing the application for Confirmation and any Inheritance Tax return, preparing the executry account and dealing with any related tax matters. These duties will be carried out under the supervision of one of our partners and there is a good network of support from colleagues in the team.

Applications are invited from Solicitors with experience in conveyancing/ commercial and private client areas. You should be a strong team player with the ability to manage a large workload on your own initiative. You will be expected to build up good client relationships and be active in the community. You will be required to live in the area. Regular training will be provided.
