As in previous years, Grigor & Young will be running a promotion in November 2017 designed to encourage you to make a Will and help charity at the same time.
Would you be willing to support Moray Foodbank this November?
We reported previously how Moray Foodbank is our current nominated charity.
Aiming to reduce the effects of food poverty in the Moray area, in 2016, the Foodbank’s work helped well over 2,000 people.
Virtually all of the food given out by Moray Foodbank is donated by the public. Each person who gets assistance from the scheme receives a minimum of 3 days’ food.
For November 2017, Grigor & Young will be donating £100 from each fee for preparation of a Will to Moray Foodbank.
This is your opportunity to help others and, at the same time, help yourself by getting your affairs in order.
If you do not already have a Will and it is not clear to you why having a Will is a good idea, you may want to refer to some of the other articles on our website. We consider, for example, why every adult should have a Will and why not having a Will means there is no clear security for your loved ones – they may or may not inherit.
We emphasise that a Will makes sense not just for your benefit but – perhaps more importantly – also for the benefit of those people closest to you.
Should you choose not to make or review your Will at this time, Moray Foodbank would still be grateful for your support.
You can donate via the obvious red button on the Foodbank’s website.
You can make also make donation in person, by dropping into their Elgin office next time you are in town. Cash or cheque is acceptable. Find them at:
203 High Street, Elgin
Tel: 01343 208293
Office hours are 9am – 1pm, Monday to Friday.
If you do decide to go ahead with a Will, why not include a charitable donation?
You can consider whether to include in your Will a bequest to Moray Foodbank, or another charity of your choice.
If you would like to arrange an appointment to discuss making a Will, contact Reception in Elgin (01343 544077) or Forres (01309 672126). If you prefer, send us a Free Online Enquiry and we will respond to you via phone or email.
