I joined the firm in 2022 as a legal assistant in the Court department before commencing my traineeship later that year. I completed my traineeship with the firm and qualified as a solicitor (and became a notary public) in 2024. I was promoted to the position of Associate, with effect from September 2026.

Prior to joining G&Y, I graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from Abertay University, Dundee in 2021. I graduated from the University of Dundee with a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2022. I am a local quine and returning home to advance her career was particularly important to me. Since joining the firm, I have practised almost exclusively in civil court work, with the exception of some private client work. For the most part, I advise clients in connection with family law matters, including child contact and residence; child relocation; divorce; adoption; and cohabitation matters. I also have a keen interest in guardianships.

Outside of work I enjoy visiting castles and museums around Scotland and going to the cinema. My favourite genre of film is horror.
